The “Personal Brand” project is about designing a cohesive system of my own logo and business card represents my characteristics and personality. Throughout the process, I wanted to portray myself as a pink person and a cat lover, which can be seen through the color palette, the “Kitto” typography, and the illustration.

my inspiration

I love animals, especially cats, so having a cat illustration was the first thing I thought of. I specifically chose a tuxedo because I have one named Socky. As I wanted to keep my personal brand simple and minimal, I tried to minimize the color palette to only 3 main colors.

Although I’m happy with how my final pieces turned out, I had some challenges with defining myself and what my true colors are. Lots of sketches helped me know what I really want!

Moving to business card, it still took me a lot of trial and error to “cook” the design that I’m completely happy with and feel like myself.
